Training And Mentorship Program for Black Newcomers in NL

This is a comprehensive initiative aimed at empowering Black newcomers in Newfoundland and Labrador by providing hands-on filmmaking experience, career-focused mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth. Participants receive training in various filmmaking roles, produce short films, and engage with industry professionals through mentorship and networking. The program culminates in a Black Film Festival that showcases participants’ work, celebrates diversity, and promotes cultural representation in the local film industry.
